When yu click on the first you tube.. and look.over to the right (top) column, you can click on the youtube about my 'old' airline: Pan Am, before or after you watch AVET youtube..

Just thought for those too young to remember what flying 'used' to be like, it might teach you something; and to us 'old timers', it might bring back some very fond memories.

One in every port....yep, those were the days.   We got to overnight in many of them too, since they were all out of country. and it took TIME to get there.    But best part was being part of the 'family', which we all felt.   Those days, unfortunately, are gone forever.  Happy I was part of that era of history.   I loved the job....and the travel....and the people I met along the way. Still stay in touch with some of them..

Hope you will take the time to watch couple of these.    (I could not open the 2nd you tube, listed among the 3 below,  but could open the 3rd).  Heard that Eric did well on their radio program today, which is great!        Alice.

Thanks ladies

We have most of our events online at: http://www.avetproject.org/

There is some other things we are working on, a few with the military that we are still working on but can't talk about right now so standby.

Today Production Videos has hooked us up with someone who will be helping us but together a professional PSA that we can share Worldwide.  We are so thrilled and appreciative.

For now here is a couple videos and you can always visit our Facebook Page which has lots of photos of us in action:

Thanks for responding, Terri.

I am including Kim in this, as she could help you understand what all AVET Project does.   She could send you their calendar, which is totally full all the time.   Besides they work with vets with psychological and physical problems.     They do miracles and on a shoe string budget.   Remarkable people.!! But they need HELP!

I will attach one picture that someone snapped the night we 'fed the troops' being deployed, and you can see how much food there is sometime.   This was just the 'meat'.  Then there was a big salad and 'cold' table and then a big dessert table.    Kim is the one who does so much of the prep and really needs help in the kitchen!!! tHIS was taken a day or so before the pageant I was in.

I'm well aware that so many women in groups such as the Federated just come out for the social aspect, but they have to be "sold" on the need for their service!   Its important.

We can't just 'gloss' over the fact that basically, we are not doing very much that will really make a difference in the everyday existence in the lives of these men & women who give up so much for our freedom and liberty.

If you can't do the job, then perhaps Beth could appoint someone else for time being.    I would not mind being that person, but believe there are others who are on the board, or in the inner circle, who could step up and actually get their fingers dirty, instead of just taking bows all the time.  I get really tired of that.

I helped register almost 900 runners for the relay tonight.  Not bragging, but at my age, I run circles around many who are half my age...but do nothing but read novels and watch TV.   That is NOT for me.  I seldom watch TV and never read anything fictional.

Call me sometime.   255 7380

> Thanks for your interest.    I know AVET is an outstanding organization and the only one locally which really takes care of BREVARD county!!!    All of the literature from Brev. Federated women mention supporting military........and yet, if we are not supporting our LOCAL ORGANIZATION than we are missing the boat!
>
> Not only do they need $$$$ .... they need HELP!!! Help in serving the troops; baking cookies; manning booths, and all the things Federated women could and should be doing!   I know they are NOT doing them because I'm involved with 75% of what they do, and I've never seen one Federated woman there, helping out.    Its a crying shame.
